Upgraded MCUs can take the heat

Sharp expanded the temperature range capability for its BlueStreak ARM9-based 32bit SoCs. Suitable for operating conditions between -40 and 85°C, the LH7A400 and LH7A404 will target applications that require high temperature resistance.

Due to the performance upgrade, the LH7A400/ LH7A404 will operate at speeds of 245 and 266MHz, respectively, throughout the whole industrial temperature range. The expanded temperature range lets the SoCs operate in industrial applications on the factory floor, as well as in outdoor locations.
