Crossware, an embedded software tools developer, added support for Philips’ LPC210X ARM-based microprocessors into its ARMR development suite. The LPC210X chips, based on the ARM7TDMI-S processor core, feature a range of on-chip peripherals, including multiple timers, UARTs, a serial peripheral interface (SPI), an inter-integrated circuit, and an analogueto- digital converter for the more recently announced chips.

Crossware’s enhancements allow developers to exploit the features of these chips by providing a combination of wizards, simulation, debugging, compiler extensions, and preconfiguration.
