In an attempt to create the broadest selection of embedded memory available, Catalyst Semiconductor unveiled three new families of voltage supervisors. The CAT130xx family offers 1, 4, 8, and 16kbits of embedded EEPROM with a Microwire serial interface. Meanwhile, the CAT140xx and CAT150xx families provide 2, 4, 8, and 16kbits of embedded EEPROM with, respectively, I2C and SPI serial interface protocols.

The supervisor families also offer seven reset threshold voltage options ranging from 2.32 to 4.63V to support 2.5, 3, 3.3, and 5V systems. The reset function is available with either CMOS active low or CMOS active high output options. Valid reset is guaranteed at VCC = 1V.
