MIPI adopts new member

Rousset, France: The MIPI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface) Alliance recently welcomed Atmel Corp. aboard as an Adopter Member. The MIPI Alliance is an association of electronics industry leaders whose objective is to simplify the design and implementation of hardware and software for mobile devices. It does so by driving consistency in processor and peripheral interfaces, which promotes reuse and compatibility. Adopter Member status enables Atmel to use MIPI specifications to develop MIPI-compliant products.
