Actel announced availability of its ARM Cortex-M1 processor implementation. It’s essentially a small, high-performance, 32bit soft core co-developed by both companies for use in FPGAs.

Derived from ARM’s threestage Cortex-M3 processor pipeline, the highly configurable Cortex-M1 processor operates at up to 72MHz in Actel’s M1-enabled Fusion Programmable System Chip or ProASIC3 FPGAs.
