Analog IP Foundry Opens Its Doors

Lisbon, Portugal: Bracknell, England: Chipidea, an analog and mixed-signal subsystems and IP company, created what it says is the first Analog IP foundry. Its product lines include RF, wireless, power management, wireline, audio, video, and connectivity interfaces. Each of these lines offers singlefunction analog IP and subsystem cores that support multifoundry/ multiprocess generations from 1.8 m to 65nm.

Chipidea’s Advance Analog Lab product is used in the development of architectures and circuitry to address new consumer standards, such as UWB, HDMI, WiMAX, MTV, and GPS.
