EPCOS, the German manufacturer of passive electronic components, has signed an agreement with the Chinese conglomerate Xiamen Xindeco to set up the joint venture EPCOS (Xiamen).

The joint venture will manufacture aluminium electrolytic capacitors that will be sold exclusively via EPCOS sales channels.
